Although Zip is no longer accepting new purchases after 11:59pm 16 August 2026, if you have an outstanding balance, you still need to continue making your scheduled repayments until your outstanding balance has been paid in full.
You can view upcoming payment dates and amounts until 11:59pm 28th September 2026 in the Zip app or via the customer portal.
Paying on time
- Continue making your repayments on the dates shown in your payment schedule - we will automatically attempt payment on the due date.
- There are no fees for paying early or on time.
If you miss a repayment
- A $10 default fee may be added to your order per order.
- An additional $10 fee may be charged for each week the payment remains overdue, up to a maximum of $40 in late fees per order.
We encourage you to bring your payments up to date as soon as possible to avoid further fees.
If payments continue to be missed, your account may be referred to a collections agency and this could negatively impact your credit score.
How do I make a manual payment?
If your repayment hasn't gone through when we've attempted to take it automatically, you can pay us manually. You'll find instructions in this article on how to do this.
Please note that manual payments made via bank transfer must include your order number (without the - ) as the reference number, and will not be applied to your Zip account until the next business day.
