No — Zip instalments can’t be paid with cash.
To use Zip, you’ll need a valid NZ bank-issued debit or credit card linked to your account.
Here’s how payments work:
Your instalments are automatically charged to the card linked to your Zip account
You need enough available funds on your card to cover your first instalment at checkout
Future instalments will be debited automatically on their scheduled due dates
If your linked card has expired or is no longer valid, you can update your card details in the Zip app. If you have another card linked to your account, and the default card cannot be used, we will retry the payment on the alternate card.
