Our Pay Longer pilot was a limited time offering which ended on December 13th 2021.
This product was originally launched on a trial basis to a small selected group of Zip users, allowing fortnightly instalment payments over 24 weeks for transactions over $500, instead of the traditional 6 weeks for our Pay in 4 product.
The pilot has now closed as we take feedback on board, and develop an even better version of the longer term product!
Pay Longer customers
If you were previously approved for a Pay Longer account, Pay Longer has been disabled for future purchases, and your spend limit has been restored to what it was prior to the upgrade.
Any existing Pay Longer purchases will still be accessible within your account, and your payments will run as scheduled. You can also make payments early with no additional fees*.
For a small number of users, the spend limit change may mean that you can't shop with Zip again until you have made more of your repayments.
- Your Pay in 4 spend limit (before upgrading to Pay Longer) was $1000
- Your spend limit increased to $2500 when you upgraded to Pay Longer, and you made a purchase worth $2000
- There is still an outstanding balance for this order of $1500
- This will technically leave a negative Available spend limit amount of $500 (which will reflect as $0 Available spend in your Zip account) so you won't be able to shop with Zip again until you have paid over $500 back
If you have any questions or concerns on this, please contact our Customer Experience team here.
Once we are ready to launch the new Pay Longer product, with even better features, we will let you know.
